2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs - 3rd Round

NHL Officials selected to work the 3rd Round of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The NHL has announced today the names of the NHL officials selected to work the Third Round of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The National Hockey League has 34 Full-Time Referees and 34 Full-Time Linesmen during the regular season. Only a portion of these officials gets to work the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Below are the numbers of officials needed for each round of the Stanley Cup Playoff.

1st ROUND – 20 Referees (+2 Standby Referees) & 20 Linesmen (+2 Standby Linesmen)

2nd ROUND – 12 Referees (+2 Standby Referees) & 12 Linesmen (+2 Standby Linemen)

3rd ROUND – 8 Referees (+1 Standby Referee) & 8 Linesmen (+1 Standby Linesman)

STANLEY CUP FINALS – 4 Referees & 4 Linesmen

Here are the NHL officials selected today by the National Hockey League to work the Third Round of the 2018 NHL Playoffs.

 

REFEREES

Gord Dwyer, Eric Furlatt, Marc Joannette, Wes McCauley, Brad Meier, Dan O’Halloran, Chris Rooney & Kelly Sutherland.

Standby Referee: Francis Charron

 

LINESMEN

Derek Amell, Scott Cherrey, Michel Cormier, Greg Devorski, Ryan Gibbons, Matt MacPherson, Brian Murphy & Jonny Murray.

Standby Linesman: Devin Berg
