TIMBITS JAMBOREE – FEBRUARY 16th 2015 – LONDON, ONT.

This past Monday, retired NHL veteran referee of 1200+ games Don VanMassenhoven and NHLOA member Tj Luxmore attended the annual “Timbits Jamboree” hosted by the London area Tim Horton store owners and the London Knights OHL hockey team.

Over 100 players and their families attended the event at the Budweiser Gardens, where the attendees had an opportunity to skate with the Don and Tj and have their photos taken. The kids also participated in events such as face painting and they also received a medal for their play.

The visit included an opportunity for the NHLOA to speak to the crowd about the partnership between Zebras Care and the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.

The event was a tremendous success, including the opportunity for Don and Tj to take in the game between the Saginaw Spirit and London Knights from the London owner’s suite at the gardens.

A huge thank you to the Tim Hortons store owners and the London Knights for putting up an event like this!

Well done!
